I am a policy researcher and writer based in London.
As Policy Director at Reform, I lead the Reimagining Whitehall research programme focussed on civil service reform, and research ways to improve British state capacity.
Prior to joining Reform, I was a manager at Faculty, a leading UK AI company, working with government clients in defence, security and law enforcement.
Before Faculty, I worked as a civil servant and policy adviser in the UK government for seven years, mostly at the Treasury and the Home Office.
Alongside my work at Reform, I founded the Greater London Project, a community group and newsletter sourcing ideas to make London better. I also write Power Lore, a blog about technology, governance and policy.
I studied my Bachelor's degree in Theology at Durham University. and have a Graduate Diploma in Economics and Statistics from Birkbeck College, University of London.
